

Andrea Lee RVN
Head Nurse
Andrea has been part of the Fern Cottage Veterinary Surgery team since 2013 and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2018. She particularly enjoys medical cases that involve intensive nursing and nurse clinics where she can build relationships with the clients. At home most of Andrea’s time is spent looking after her young daughter and Magnum, the kitten she rehomed from the practice. She also belongs to a running club to keep fit.


Kyree Bouffler RVN
Kyree joined Fern Cottage Veterinary Surgery in 2015 as a nursing student, qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in 2018. She is particularly interested in theatre and in-patient nursing, ensuring a high level of care is given to all patients. In her spare time Kyree enjoys spending time with her family and young son, and is a member of a local running club.


Maria-Teresa Chittenden RVN
Maria started working at Fern Cottage Veterinary Surgery in 1996 after working as a kennel maid for a few years with racing greyhounds. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1999 and has continued to work here ever since. She has a special interest in laboratory work and is the caretaker of the Fern Cottage in-house laboratory. At home she lives with her two children and has many animals big and small, ranging from horses to guinea pigs. In her spare time Maria enjoys horse riding.


Samantha Warner RVN
Sam started at Fern Cottage in 2004 where she completed her training and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2008. She then moved to other practices to gain further experience, including working in a busy out of hours clinic. After the birth of her first baby she returned to Fern Cottage on a part-time basis in 2015. At the practice she enjoys theatre work and nurse clinics., along with taking care of the practice Facebook page. In her spare time she enjoys horse riding and days out with her family.


Rebekah Gore
Student Veterinary Nurse
Rebekah has been a part of the Fern Cottage team since June 2009. As a veterinary nursing assistant she works as a support and an extra pair of hands to the rest of the nursing team. She particularly enjoys client interaction. At home Rebekah has a Cocker Spaniel named Jynx, a guinea pig named Squidge and a cat, Geoffrey, who was brought into the surgery as a poorly stray. In her spare time Rebekah is busy keeping up with her young son Logan and stepdaughter Elle, as well as spending time with her friends.
